Just got back from a walk down to Lake Sammamish. There were a couple of massive bald eagles perched in the same cottonwood in Idylwood Park where we'd seen eagles in on a previous trip. I imagine they were enjoying the sun as much as we were. It's one of those sunny, winter days that gives one hope that spring will come before too long...or at least that a few bulbs will start blooming.





Just tried to insert a photo of the eagles, but as this is the first time I've tried to do so, I'm not sure if it worked. If it did, those two dots in the trees are the eagles. No mountain views today, but we had them yesterday, so I suppose that's fair.

Time for a cuppa and to read Sherra's latest story, "A Slight Disturbance," which I have been eagerly anticipating.
